#StrongerTogether
#StrongerTogether is a program where staff and customers of Stitches 'N Tyme collaborate with Oakfield middle school students through their Kindness Day program to raise funds for needy families. Stitches 'N Tyme provides all the supplies to create pillows/book pillows that are available for purchase to the general public. All monies collected go to the "giving tree" fund which is used to purchase Christmas presents and help students throughout the year with costs. In our first year, 2019, we assembled over 150 pillows and raised over $3,000. "A single stitch today becomes a seam tomorrow. It is my privilege to pay it forward and make a positive difference.

With current Covid restrictions it is not possible for the district to participate in community events. My granddaughter, Haven, age 8 made a flannel throw quilt which we sold chances for and raised $340 for the #strongertogether fund. In addition, Stitches 'N tyme joined the Oakfield Firemans auxiliary flower/bake sale and sold some of our store samples to raise an additional $245.
